Creating & Managing Anchors

Top  Previous  Next

Creating and managing Anchors in HTML Editor is very similar to Creating and Managing Hyperlinks..

Anchors allow you to highlight a section of text and expand on it at another location on the page. Anchors are commonly used in index summaries where a list is created with every item anchored to a descriptive section.

To create an anchor you must first of all create all of the text for the page. You can then summarize the text with summary points at the top of the document and associate descriptive / detailed content with an anchor at the top of the page.
